Won by the West Team 8-4, these two articles feature detailed accounts of how the East Team jumped out to a commanding 4-0 only to loose the game 8-4. These two documents also feature the game's Starting Lineups as provided by the game's original managers SHERWOOD BREWER (of the Kansas City Monarchs) and JIMMY CANADY (of the Birmingham Black Barons) Featured in the game were: FRANK WILLIAMS - the older brother of Baseball Hall-of-Famer and Chicago Cub Billy Williams; East Team Starting pitcher Ernest "Ernie" Westfield of the Birmingham Black Barons, pitcher Willie Gilmore of the famed Kansas City Monarchs who eventually got the win and Detroit Stars' All-Time Catcher Art Hamilton who tied the game with his fourth inning homer.
