Odell Norris Autographed & Inscribed Mini-Hoosier Baseball BatThis Autographed and Inscribed Hoosier Baseball Bat was signed with a fine sharpie pen by Odell Norris a former first baseman for the Indianapolis Clowns. This talented ballplayer who grew up in the late forties and in the mid sixties wanted to play baseball. But with the former Negro League baseball teams beginning to crumble he had to find one team that would be strong enough to support him. He did. The famed Clowns, where management and ownership were solid, saw him and immediately signed him to a contract where he played for two seasons beginning in 1966. Today Norris is a member of the Jacksonville Fire Department and a strong supporter to the Durkeeville Historical Society - home to the former home of the jacksonville Red Caps and the Jacksonville Tars. This item comes with its own Letter of Authenticity. |
